Information empowers individuals to make better choices – often resulting in positive life changes. This digital portal offers a customized experience for users of the site, making it easy to find the specific content that individuals may be interested in, may need and for sharing with clients, family and friends.

This online resource was developed in partnership with Lakehead Social Planning Council’s 211 program, Age Friendly Thunder Bay and many other local organizations and individuals who contributed in many practical ways. It was developed using the original print Guide published in 2021 entitled “A Resource Guide for Aging Adults in Thunder Bay 2021” as its foundation.

Programs and services listed on the portal are converted from the 211 Northern Region database of Human Services. The information provided is regularly reviewed, verified and updated by 211 Resource staff using www.211north.ca.
